ββHey Friends,
We are really excited to share this weeks episode. We caught up with the one and only Hillary McBride, for a conversation centered on embodiment. Hilary is a a therapist, researcher, speaker and writer. She loves to help see people grow, heal, change, and come into more fullness in themselves and their relationships. She is passionate about the well-being of all people, and wants to make psychology and academic research accessible to a wide variety of people. This is the foundation of the conversation we had with her, on embodiment.
Hillary is a leading voice in the conversation, and work of embodiment, including her most recent book "The Wisdom of Your Body; Finding Healing, Wholeness, and Connection through Embodied Living". In this conversation we dive into a number of topics, from simply defining or clarifying embodiment as a term, looking into how we are, or are not quite living fully embodied, how social power and societal norms can influence our embodiment, and living in alignment with our body and mind. Through story and Metaphor Hillary deftly unpacks the wisdom we carry in our bodies, and how we would all benefit from living more fully in our bodies.
Enjoy this one!
